Cowichan Area’s Latest Facebook Post

Timeline PhotosWe get it, this sucks, we miss our riding buddies too! But the faster we follow orders, the sooner we’ll be back to normal.

As the weekend approaches and warm weather nears, please resist the urge to call your crew and hit the trails. Think not only about the health and safety of others, but who you may be influencing to get out there as well.

If you can’t fight the urge (and are still allowed to get out) here are some suggestions to play safe.

👉 Ride from home, don’t crowd the trailheads
👉 If you drive, only drive with people from your own household
👉 NO SHUTTLING
👉 Limit your crew to the people in your household
👉 Keep quiet on social media. Use your influence to inspire others to stay home and stay safe
👉 Call out the people who aren’t following the rules, be nice, but let them know what they’re doing isn’t cool
👉 If you can, just stay home. Save your riding for mid week when the trails are quieter

Stay safe, friends. We’re all in this together and we’ll get through it together 💪
