Phloem Update – As many of you know, the CTSS built a new flow trail on Maple Mountain this past spring/summer. The main purpose of Phloem was to improve safe travel by re-routing descending cyclists off of Xylem (the climbing route).
Our goal was to build a blue flow trail that would suit a wide range of riding abilities; easy enough for newer intermediate riders while offering speed and fun to more advanced cyclists. In other words we want to please the masses.
With that in mind, we are looking for your feedback before we finish work on the trail this Fall/Winter.
What do you like/love/dislike about the trail?
What suggestions do you have to improve the trail?
Does this trail suit your riding level/ability?
If you’re relatively new to the sport – can you navigate this trail safely?
We are wide open to your suggestions and will be collecting all this information as we make plans to officially complete, sanction and open the trail. Thanks for commenting!
